Putopis

Vojvodina

U Novoj Pazovi smo napravili prvu pauzu. Lepe sobice, dobra turska kafa i ljubazno osoblje.

Upoznajte labudove Isu i Bisu u Dunavskom parku.
Ostavljamo Novi Sad i krećemo ka Bečeju. Sasvim solidan put. Bez većih problema uspeli smo da pronađemo Tiski kej. Prelepo mesto puno ljubičastog i roze cveća.
Preko Starog i Novog Bečeja i beskrajno dugačkog sela Novog Miloševa stižemo u Kikindu.

TRAVELOGUE

They announced a tropical weekend and we heard that Tisa is going to flower. We easily agreed to go on a road trip, and on Friday we were in the car on the highway E-75. The heat of 40 degrees is not recommended for a long journey, but wherever we went we found a location where we were able to cool off.

We chose the road from Belgrade to Novi Sad through Batajnica, Stara and Nova Pazova, Indjija and Sremski Karlovci. In Nova Pazova we made the first break. We tried a delightful, refreshing ice cream on tap with a variety of toppings. Little house where they sell ice cream, interestingly covered with artificial grass, is located opposite the post office on the main road. At the exit from Stara Pazova is a villa Athens. Cute little room, good Turkish coffee and friendly staff. Great place to take a break if you go for a long journey. We continued to Novi Sad. In Indjija is already known outlet center, but to get to it, here you have to come through town it is a little bit confusing path, however, when you get there you will not find big crowds and you will easily find a place to park 🙂 Road from Indjija to Fruska Gora and Novi Sad is a lot worse, so if you do not have things to do in the area before Novi Sad highway is hardly recommended. When you arrive to Sremski Karlovci, turn left and follow the road to Fruska Gora and Strazilovo to take shelter from the noise and heat.On this road can happen to meet many priests. As far as Stražilo stairs, it is better to come here in the spring when it is not too hot to really be able to enjoy (and to climb). After Sremski Karlovci you can stop in Sremska Kamenica in the church of St. Petka. In this church keeps her hand in the glass box and the Orthodox Christians come here to pray. Of course we come to the inevitable Petrovaradin. You can drive a car to the museum, where is parking, but it is important to pay attention to traffic lights in order to avoid inconvenience.

About Petrovaradin will not write much. You know we’re preparing Exit, so we know you will enjoy it :). Novi Sad, Serbian Athens. Wide boulevards, parallel streets, preserved buildings from the past. Depending on your interests, you can find many places that will keep you entertained. It is certain that one day will not be enough. On the Jewish street is located Synagogue. Be sure to visit Spens, a good ice cream you have in Mercator (Liberation Boulevard). Of course visit the Nylon market and buy a little something for the memory, it is much better than the classic souvenirs. In the walking zone in the center is located a tourist info office, as well as many boutiques, cafes and monuments. Street Laze Teleckog is well known for a good night life, but do not underestimate either the old city cafe. Meet swans Isa and Bisa in the Danube Park. Danube Park is full of all kinds of rare and protected plant species so if you’re interested you should ask someone who knows to lead through the park and learn to recognize, for example, tree of Ginkgo biloba (Liman, Futoski …). Go back streets of the city and experience it, please do not just chase to take pictures of landmarks that are familiar to everybody. We leave Novi Sad and moving towards Becej. Very solid way. Without major problems we managed to find Tiski Quay. A beautiful city full of purple and pink flowers. The Blooming of the Tisa spectacle is certainly one of the most romantic event in Serbia. Countless released candles in shape of a heart, a lot of couples, a good mood and insects again show us how nature can be spectacular, interesting, beautiful … If you are adventurous, visit one of many wild beaches of the Tisa and swim freely, it is one of rarely pure rivers.

Through the Old and New Becej and infinitely long village Novo Milosevo, we arrive in Kikinda. Kikinda is a city of many factories (Foundry, Toza Markovic – tiles, Banini – sweets, Acetic complex …) At the entrance of city, there is a small park-like fenced lawn with playground, where you can bring your dog to run out and play, but there are no trees so is not recommended to come here when is hot summer day. In the city center there is a pedestrian zone and there you have ice cream varieties 🙂 The most we liked ice cream in Corso – Korzo (where for years selling ice cream), because it is creamy, traditional and very tasty (she usually does not like fruit ice cream but this is really without competition).

In the center of Kikinda we made the photo that is Travel Channel decided to publish on their Internet profiles.

The newly opened Ice Cream point, Twenty, offers a new modern tastes with fresh fruits. We visited Terra, a place where sculptors from Europe and around the world come to make all kinds of art works from clay. About Terra and Kikinda we will write more in the next post. Get out of town to a nearby forest and wash your face and eyes in the church of St. Petka, if you are lucky you might try and honey, that is collected by local priests 🙂
You can go to a place called Ada to refresh yourself and get away from city crowds. Or go to a place Nakovo, where is open border with Romania and visit Timisoara, for example. If you love the spa near the is Rusanda. From Kikinda we continued through Basaid to Zrenjanin. The road was bad, but being renovated. For Zrenjanin, at first glance, you would not say it’s a big city full of people. On the streets near the center, we met a few people. The downtown of Zrenjanin is being renovated, so we could not find anything special to see. Probably they all fled in cafes or at a nearby picnic resort, because it was really warm. We went to Pancevo but not trough Zrenjanin road. We passed through the villages such as Tomasevac, Idvor (Museum of Mihajlo Pupin). ..It is very nice to see that on almost every pole is nest made by a bird’s. Near village Orlovat river is crossing by the bridge for the train, which is a very interesting experience. In Kovacica is located holiday center (relax center) where is the pool so we found almost all locals here how cool it. On the way to Pancevo we passed despite sugar factory Sunoko. It is interesting to imagine how sugar beet converted into crystal sugar, right? We passed through the center of Pancevo, which is adorned with park and of course plenty of cafes. Good ice cream and coffee can be found in Aviv park, you will not regret it 🙂

We can conclude that we have the whole weekend spent enjoying in large amount of ice cream and the smell of Tisa. Throughout the journey we were followed by Athens and the church of St. Petka. It’s been a great weekend in Vojvodina, and we hope that you have enjoyed in this travelogue. Have fun while visiting Serbia 🙂
